Born in the hills of W. Pennsylvania, where he worked on the family farm, Randy learned that hard work is how we survive, and dedication leads to success. He lives in Wake Forest with his wife and children. And as a father of five and a small business owner, Randy lives for a high pace and organized chaos. 

Eager to get an education and see the world, Randy joined the PA Army National Guard at 17. During his six-year enlistment, he trained at multiple bases in the Eastern US and Oklahoma. Post 9-11, he spent time on active duty in Europe, all while obtaining a degree in Avionics from Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. After moving to NC in January 2006, Randy found himself working in the construction industry. 

For the next ten years, he worked in various aspects of construction that led to a position as a construction manager at Lennar Homes. While working at Lennar, he realized that codes were quickly changing to keep up with the housing boom, which was inevitably going to lead to avoid in the local construction industry. That led to the inception of GCS in 2018.
